Despite the only rain for weeks we had a good turnout (11 people) for our long walk on July 13th. The going was a bit heavy underfoot at times but it managed to stay dry for us and the views across the fields were lovely.
Our next walk is Tuesday 3rd August and, as a gardener I am hoping for for some real rain, but please not then! Our record with the weather is not good to date but maybe our luck will change. Meet at the corner in Pury End by Kirby Farm at 7.00pm for a walk out Heathencote way.
