For those of you who haven't heard of Twitter, it's a form of social network (akin to Facebook, Bebo, myspace etc), but your page is built up of people's status updates that are of interest to you. So, what's the point - why should Paulerspury have one?

Well for one thing, Twitter is mobile. Any post on this site will appear on the Twitter feed. People read their Twitter page every hour or so. So, if you run the Barley Mow and want to promote an event, if you post it on the website it will be posted on the site, but will also be delivered instantly to any locals who are on Twitter. Hugely valuable I hope? Putting on a play? What better way to promote it?
